Shruti Box S1 PRO

Made from solid seasoned Burmese teak and hand polished in a natural matte finish; specifically chosen for their acoustic properties. They are fitted with the finest grade copper tip reeds to produce a clear, detailed and harmonious tone.  Small variations in the wood grain and colour add to a unique individual character. Every detail of our instruments, including precision mechanical parts, have been developed and refined for function, beauty and tone. All fittings (plates) have been completed with brass, including the screws, a very nice enhancement.  

Two Scale options C to C or G to G (one full octave), giving our customers full customization.   These are perhaps some of the best Shruti boxes available.  Specially made for Kala Kendar by a private maker in Kolkata. Measures approximately  40cm x 31cm x 7cm and weighs approximately 4 kgs.
