Our lightest harmonium added to our collection of fine instruments. Designed to travel, be it across town or flying overseas, the Traveler Lite is the harmonium you'll enjoy bringing along.

Everything about the Traveler Lite is simplified and beautiful. It's incredibly reliable with no buttons or moving components to rattle, bend or break. The tone is subtle and warm; not overly bright, but still very present.

The instrument begins at F2 and ends at C5,  32 keys total; made from seasoned teakwood, approximate dimensions 18 1/2" x 10 3/4" x 9"  and weighs 16 lbs! Comes complete with a well-made padded gig bag for safe transport.

A new class of Indian harmoniums.  Designed in Canada, built in India.  It's about time we started creating instruments specifically for our North American customers.

Technical specification:

  • Double brass reed system, Bass + Male set
  • F2 to C5 keyboard, 32 full size keys.
  • Bellows: 3 part fold.
  • Seasoned hardwood cabinet
  • 16 lbs (7.2 kg) total weight

    professional service

I am very pleased with traveler harmonium sound and weight. Have adjusted well to relative lack of sustain compared to larger harmoniums. Mildly surprised that formica strips used in construction, but sound and weight make up for this entirely folks at Kala Kendar VERY professional, fabulous communication throughout process... happy to pay more for this and to know it will be delivered....still waiting on harmoniums x 2 to arrive from a different musical instrument company in India after money paid up many months ago, and no sign of harmoniums or communication about what has happened... very grateful for your service, Sally, Wellington, New Zealand
