The barrel is made from ethically sourced Rosewood; the high side skin is approximately 7" with a matching bass side skin of 9" Barrel sizes will vary from instrument, approx. 18 - 19" in length. This instrument produces a beautiful sound as it is made with only the best materials.

Good value
The dholak arrived in great condition. All it needed was to be tuned. The bass sound is clear and deep, the treble also clear and has a nice ring to it. I can honestly say the sound surpasses the price. I will be ordering more for my students in the future.
