Banarasi Dayan

I just bought two Banarasi dayans from the shop. 1 piece was 5.25" and the other was 5.50". Both were found to be well balanced, heavy, very resonant syahi, and medium soft kinaars. That's my preference as I play in the Banarasi style. Both pieces stay tuned at their relative scales, which is every tabla player's desire. Tension balance is key as well as proper climate control in the place in which you store your instruments. I highly recommend purchasing from this vendor.
