A preferred tabla maker from Calcutta, Mridangam (Tabla Maker), all we can say at the moment is that they are very well made and they sound amazing! Rosewood (Sheasham) Dayan, heavy weight brass bayan (approx. weight 3+ kg) with nickel plating. Handmade Calcutta skins, for clear tone. The buni work (braiding) on the dayan is a simple twist style, on the bayan side it will be cross braided style.  This a great student level tabla set at a modest price. This set is a good choice for those just starting out, these drums are also good enough for concert performance. Comes complete with Tabla rings & Covers.
