Shruti Box S1 Ebony - (Blemished)

Made from seasoned Teak wood, tuned C to C (one full octave) and a two-part counter-balanced bellow system, allowing for maximum air flow. These are perhaps some of the best Shruti boxes available.  Features copper-tipped reeds for a full and well rounded tone with subtle harmonics (often described by our customers as a sweet and warm sound). Specially made for Kala Kendar by a private maker in Kolkata.

Designed in Canada, built in India.  It's about time we started creating instruments specifically for our North American customers.
