Custom-made Manipuri (Nikhil Banerjee Style) Concert sitar. Beautifully decorated carvings (quite unique actually!) perfectly matched with exceptional penwork and inlay. The headstock is slightly longer (about 1 1/2") to accomodate for the extra peg. Over-sized natural upper gourd (most Kanai Lal sitars sold elsewhere are sold with cheap wooden gourds, to keep the price down!) with exquisite hand carvings.
